A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Biography

Born and grew up in Japan in a neurodiverse family with an artist and a scholar as parents.   Never quite fitted in to boxes of Japanese hierarchy. MA in English literature with Queer theories major from Ochanomizu Uni. and MA in Creative and Critical writing at Sussex Uni.   

Known for illustration, music, experimental performances. I regularly contribute to Safe House improvisation sessions.

I am interested in the intersections of writing and image, image and sound, sound and movement, movement and drawing, art and healing.  My work is about presence, traces and intersections.   I work as a medium for my arts rather than work with mediums.  My body,
